Three 19th-century warehouses in Podil were sitting empty for decades. The neighborhood wanted them gone, but the historical society wouldn't budge. Both sides had valid points, honestly.
We proposed keeping the facades and structural walls while completely reimagining the interiors as mixed-use spaces - shops below, creative studios and apartments above.
